First Kukkiwon International Instructors Course in the UK
Three of Team DJB coaches attended the first Kukkiwon International Instructors course in the UK. Grandmaster Bae was the translator for the Korean Grandmasters who delivered the course with Master Shujahat and Sir Stephen both completed the course successfully.
These instructors now hold an International Instructors Qualification enabling them to deliver and teach Taekwondo globally.
Here is what our instructors have to say about the ukkiwon International Instructor course:
What have you got out of this course?
“I learned a lot about the start and end postures of basic to advance techniques as well as having the opportunity to speak and train with Taekwondo practitioners from outside the UK. It was nice meeting like-minded people and I have made some very close friends who share the same passion and mind set in teaching Taekwondo as myself.”- Master Shujahat
"I have gained so much knowledge of Taekwondo history and the history of Korean. Whilst the physical practise was amazingly useful, all the lectures of the philosophy and history of Taekwondo really changed the way I view and practise Taekwondo. It turned Taekwondo from a sport/activity into a frame of mind and a certain way of seeing yourself and the world."- Instructor Stephen
Would you recommend this course?
“I would recommend this course to any person who is 3rd Dan or above, particularly poomsae coaches, as the course has vital knowledge and gives exposure to many different topics of Taekwondo culture.”- Master Shujahat
"Absolutely! Your knowledge on the techniques will be solidified and improved, whilst the way you teach Taekwondo may change as well. It was a great networking opportunity and to get your name recognised in the Taekwondo world "- Instructor Stephen
